I actually have no clue what the true name of this brand is. As a kid I always thought it was "BFC Inc." (as in "BFC incorporated")....but apparently it's actually "BFC Ink" according to Ebay listings. I swear the old packaging said "BFC Inc." Who knows...
Anyways, I had three of these dolls when I was a kid.
I don't remember my Kaitlyn doll coming with an extra outfit, but I'll have to dig through my old doll clothes and see if i can find that white top. The jeans do look familiar, so
maybe she did come with that extra outfit and I just don't remember. Anyways, the dolls in the pictures are the exact ones that I own, down to the outfits and accessories.
BFC Ink dolls actually came with little notebooks and mini pamplet books, and each "girl" had her own storyline. The basic idea was that all of the "girls" in the line were part of a Best Friends Club (hence the brand name). Each "girl" had unque interests, like photography, or soccer, or animal care. The brand also came out with a "Pen Pals" line of dolls from around the world who were meant to portray the pen pals of the original BFC girls.
I own the Addison, Kaitlyn, and Gianna dolls, all from the original BFC line. I think I got them aroud 2010, or at least the first one was around then. I'm not positive, though. I still own their original notebooks, which were actually meant to be mini locking diaries that you could write in. Unfortunately, I did write in them so they're no longer in mint condition. I do have all of the original accesories, hats, shoes, etc that came with the dolls.
